Types of Links Detected

Scan Depth Explained

Level 1 - Entry Page Only

Checks all links on the page you entered. Quick (~10 seconds).

Level 2 - Recommended (default)

Checks the entry page + all linked internal pages. Good balance (~30s-1min).

Level 3 - Deep Analysis

Complete scan with 2 levels of depth. Longer but more thorough (~1-2min).

Limitations

  • Only public URLs can be analyzed
  • Sites requiring authentication are not supported
  • Maximum 100 pages per scan for a free tool
  • 5 scans per hour to prevent abuse
  • 10-second timeout per checked link

Note: This tool uses a secure proxy server to bypass CORS restrictions. No data is stored.

Tips for Fixing Broken Links

301 Redirect

If the page has moved, set up a permanent redirect to the new URL.

Update the Link

If the external resource has changed URL, update the link in your content.

Remove the Link

If the content no longer exists and has no alternative, remove the link.
